I was saddened to hear that Katrina has lately claimed the life of Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown.  I opened a show for Mr. Brown once. He was very kind to me and was an inspiration for several lines in a song of mine called "The Advice". Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to those who have lost so much in these difficult weeks as well as those who continue to deal with loss and heartache sustained four years ago this morning.
