A new verse for Pete?

Where have all the bumper stickers gone? Long time passing... 

I just came back from an anti-war vigil on the side of a busy hi-way and, boy,  have things changed! Folks who honk at you as they're driving by are holding up twice as many fingers as they used to*. Looks like the fever's finally passed. Happy New Year everybody!

*The sign for peace employs exactly twice as many fingers as the  bird.
